What kind of food does Bread Fruit Tree Restaurant serve?+
Authentic Caribbean food: curry goat, oxtail, jerk chicken, jerk pork, stew beef, baked ribs, pepper steak and turkey neck, plus burgers and curry veggie chunks. Most dishes come in two sizes, from CI$7 to CI$18.
Where are you located?+
58 Eastern Avenue, George Town, Grand Cayman. A short drive inland from the cruise port and waterfront. Call (345) 945-8402 for directions.
What are your opening hours?+
We open at 6am every day and serve right through until 10pm, long after most island kitchens close.
How much does a meal cost?+
Plates start at CI$7 for fried, curry or stew chicken. Oxtail is CI$12 to 14, curry goat CI$10 to 14, and grilled chicken breast CI$10 to 15. Most dishes come in a smaller and a larger size.
Do I need a reservation?+
No. Bread Fruit Tree is walk-in, and most customers order right at the counter. Bringing a larger group? Call ahead on (345) 945-8402 so the kitchen can get ready.
Do you have vegetarian options?+
Yes. Curry veggie chunks are served in the same curry base as our curry goat, as a full plate from CI$8. Plain-seasoned veggie chunks are also available.
Can I get takeout or delivery?+
Yes. Call (345) 945-8402 to order takeout for pickup, or order online right here on our website. Same full menu, same prices.
Do you cater?+
Yes. We cook in quantity every day, so trays of curry goat, stew chicken and rice and peas for office lunches, church functions and family gatherings are no trouble.
